New Procedures - Please read carefully!
In an effort to ensure the safety as well as increase the efficiency of the arrival and departure of students, we have implemented and updated our procedures for arrival and dismissal of students in cars. There will only be ONE line for cars to travel into the BWES parking lot in the morning and afternoon. All cars will travel the entire route of the parking lot. Please adhere to the directions of the cones and staff members on duty who will be directing traffic and assisting with the arrival of students.
With the exception of PreK students ONLY, ALL students are dropped off at the back gate and will line up on the black top or enter through the rear doors. Staff will be on duty to assist students who are exiting cars and will direct them to the blacktop. ONLY Pre-K students may be dropped off on the sidewalk towards the front of the building. BWES staff members will also be on duty to assist with the arrival of PreK students as well. Students who arrive after 8:30 will be directed to enter through the front of the building.
If parents/guardians would like to walk their students to or pick up their student(s) from the black top, they should travel in the same manner and park in the back lot and walk to the blacktop to drop off/pick up their student(s).
All doors of the school will be locked at 9:00 a.m. every day. If you need to enter the building please go to the front door and ring the buzzer located on the wall next to the doors. These policies are set in place to keep all of our students safe each and every day they come to school. We ask for your cooperation in abiding by these policies.
